The MD Preferred sales tool kit includes:

AN OPTIMIZED ONLINE PROFILE
To compete in today’s internet era, business professionals must host a website that has been search engine optimized to reach each and every demographic that they serve.  But SEO can be very expensive.  MD Preferred offers a sensible alternative.  Each MD Preferred member receives a detailed company profile page created by our IT engineers using content harvested from their own website.  This “mini-website” is then fully optimized with title tags, meta-tags and key healthcare search words and phrases to attract physicians.  This profile page is then pointed back at the members own website creating a powerful SEO tool that helps drive physician traffic.

A CUSTOM PRESS RELEASE
MD Preferred prepares a custom press release for each new member announcing their new credential and detailing their commitment to healthcare professionals.  The press release can be used “as is” or with minor changes.  Send the press release to your current clients (everyone has a doctor or knows a doctor) and to hospital administrators and practice managers.  Follow up the press release with a sales call.  The press release is designed to help your staff bypass gatekeepers and speak with facility decision makers.

THE MD PREFERRED SERVICE ICON
Members have un-restricted marketing rights to the MD Preferred Physician Services medallion.  It may be used on the company website and in other electronic or printed marketing materials.  The medallion is rapidly becoming an industry icon promising excellence in service to healthcare professionals.

SOCIAL MEDIA / BLOGGING
MD Preferred maintains a daily medical blog, The Advisor, which is widely read and is open to all members.  Posts to the blog recognize the author with contact information and the member receives a copy of the article for their use as a marketing piece.  Blog posts are also carried in our monthly E-newsletter which reaches thousands of physicians.  MD Preferred members are also encouraged to follow our social media accounts: Linkedin, Facebook and Twitter where we enjoy large groups of followers.

A COMPREHENSIVE SALES TRAINING MANUAL
Our training manual details the art of selling to doctors.  It explores the growing national shortage of physicians.  The manual contains a physician compensation survey. There are chapters devoted to building a medical facility database at little or no cost; composing and distributing an effective press release; the art of bypassing hospital and practice gatekeepers; how to position your company through medical blogging and social media; and networking with other MD Preferred community professionals.

COMMUNITY NETWORKING TEAM
MD Preferred is committed to building a networking team in every U.S. city with at least one major medical center.  These teams are comprised of members from each of the business disciplines that we support.  The teams are designed to share information, resources and business leads.  The MD preferred program coordinator works to build a networking team around each new member reaching out, where possible, to professionals with whom the member already has an established professional relationship.  Download the service team worksheet
