He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (TM) professional and also holds the prestigious CHARTERED FINANCIAL ANALYST (CFA) designation and is a member of the CFA Institute, the Security Analysts of San Francisco and the Financial Planning Association. He has appeared on television to discuss the economy and has been quoted on investment matters in various publications such as SmartMoney magazine and Wine Spectator. A dynamic speaker, Jerrold has taught an investment class, "Wealth and Well-Being" for several community adult education programs. Jerrold has also served as President and Chairman of the Board for the San Francisco Triathlon Club, a non-profit corporation benefiting local and national charitable causes.
Jerrold values time spent at home with his wife Karin and sons, Kai and Lance. Jerrold also enjoys golf, tennis, cycling, hiking, camping and most any activity involving the great outdoors. He has a passion for helping children with special needs and has coached YMCA basketball and volunteered time to the Special Olympics, the UCSF Children's Hospital and Arizona Cancer Center.
Jerrold A. Grecu, founded Grecu Capital Management, Inc. in 2002. Working for some of the largest investment firms in the world, including Merrill Lynch, Charles Schwab and PIMCO Funds, Jerrold has been helping clients protect and grow their personal wealth since 1991. Jerrold has extensive experience in financial planning, investment analysis, portfolio management and risk management. With a concentration in finance and economics, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Arizona.
