Chip Roe is a principal of The Potter Financial Group and currently serves as vice president. As a retirement planning specialist, Chip helps clients navigate the myriad of investment choices and tax considerations over the course of their lifetimes. He has used his financial planning expertise to guide clients through the market’s many ups and downs, including six major crashes, five bear markets, countless financial crises, and times of prosperity. Chip is frequently sought out as an expert witness in family law cases.
Chip holds a BS in finance from Western Carolina University and the Series 7 (General Securities Representative) and Series 65 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination) securities licenses with Commonwealth Financial Network. In addition, he has earned the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®), Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor® (CRPC®), and Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist® (CRPS®) designations.
Price French, RFC®, CLU®
Price French is a principal of The Potter Financial Group and currently serves as vice president. For over two decades, Price has guided his clients in creating and implementing strategies designed to help grow and protect their financial wealth. He is dedicated to helping his clients achieve True Wealth, which in his opinion means living life to the fullest while pursuing one’s passions. Price’s financial experience has made him a frequently sought-after speaker, and he has lectured at many premier academic institutions, including Duke, University of North Carolina–Chapel Hill, Vanderbilt and Wake Forest.
Price holds a BA, cum laude, from Duke University and the Series 6 (Investment Company Products/Variable Contracts Limited Representative), Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination), and Series 65 (Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination) securities licenses with Commonwealth Financial Network. In addition, he holds various insurance licenses and the Registered Financial Consultant® (RFC®) and Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®) professional designations.
